Squak Mountain Stone is a solid surface material made from concrete, recycled paper, recycled crushed glass, and coal fly ash. Fly Ash is the byproduct of coal fired electricity plants, and can be added to concrete to reduce the impact of portland cement mining.
The manufacturer recommends that consumers not place hot objects directly on to Squak Mountain Stone. Cutting directly on Squak Mountain Stone is not advised, however scratches can be buffed out.
